“ I knew I
wanted to attend college, I did not know how I could afford tuition.”
“Thank you.”
“Once I was
helped, now I am able to help other students.”
Last Saturday
night, I attended a scholarship dinner to raise funds for student scholarships.
I listened to the voices of students as they shared their stories. Each of the students
were recipients of scholarships. As the
result of generous donors, students are preparing to graduate from
college.
“Education
cost money, but then so does ignorance.”
