Cooking confessions

I come from a long line of amazing cooks. My mother, grandmother, and great grandmother were excellent cooks. The women in my family were amazing role models. They did it all.  What is “it all”, gardening, homemaking, and cooking.  In addition, they all worked outside their homes. They took pride in their homes and their families.

Growing up, I did not focus on cooking.  My mom and dad  told me to focus on my academics. There was a real gap my cooking experience.  That was then, this is now.

Now, I am thankful for a Cooking Light group where I am learning from other experienced cooks.
