Monday Musings

My family is similar to so many families today; we live hundreds of miles from our biological family.  When schedules align together, we make time to visit. Our visits are precious.

Last Friday evening, we visited my nephew and his family. Our visit was filled with stories and laughter.  We shared our disappointment over the Super Bowl outcome, traded vacation memories, and compared notes regarding church services.  Meaningful times do not have to be elaborate. Sharing a simple meal is one-way reconnect with family.

When I see a little 16 month old toddler running around the room, it makes me smile.

Red Barns dot the landscape on the way to Ft. Wayne.
