Pet of the week Josie

Since adopting Josie from the Lexington Human Society, I am now a part of an early morning community of dog walkers. We bundle up in our coats, hats, and gloves while we hold our little plastic bags.

I enjoy the morning walks while it is still dark outside.  It is so quiet in the morning. Sometimes, the silence is interrupted by a hum of a car that is warming in a neighbor’s driveway. Most often the silence is broken by the barking of dog. 

Josie is a welcome addition to our home.
