Pets of the week, Miss Lady and Sir Clifford

“Please Don’t Pet Me” is the phrase that is displayed prominently on the vests of service dogs.  “There are a wide variety of jobs that service dogs can have. It is important to keep in mind that while some things may be true for one type of service dog, the same may not be true for another type."  Check out information about service dogs: Here  Please Don't Pet Me

Earlier this week , I met the ‘Abrahams’s who own Miss Lady and Sir Clifford two service dogs.  Where did we meet? At the Durham Museum in Omaha.  These shelties are so amazing!  Why do they have vests that say “Please Don’t Pet Me”? It is because they are focused on doing a particular job. They are trained to be attentive to the needs of their owners.

They are quick to obey their owners. Looking for their next command.
