Pet of the week - Einstein

The pet of the week is a rescue dog named Einstein.    Jessica and Emmanuel  rescued  this sweet bundle of cuteness.  Jessica and Jara (my daughter) met during their undergraduate days Asbury.
Today, they remain the best of friends.

Huge thanks to Jessica for  providing the text!

"Einstein is a rescue dog who was terribly abused/neglected.  When Cause for Paws Ohio saved him  (along with his sister who was adopted a week before) Einstein was matted and had a horrible skin infection.  Despite it all, he is the happiest dog around.

They don’t know much about him.  But as far as they can tell, a Lhasa Apso Maltese mix, though if you ask me, he’s 75=percent hair, and 25 percent sleepy!
Thanks J for "sharing" the picture!

They think he’s about five years old – so he sleeps pretty much all day and parties hard when I get home from work (aka, grabs a toy and squeaks it for a few minutes).
He love walks, cuddles, fresh water (and lots of it) watching UK basketball (who doesn’t), and sleeping with his tongue out.

We both are totally in love with him and so grateful to his foster mom for taking care of him. Can’t imagine how anyone could ever harm him (or any animal) and already, can’t imagine our life without him. "

  1. So glad Einstein has a loving home. Rescue dogs must be the best ... they are grateful to have a safe home. Thanks for sharing the story and picture.
