Lord Make Us More Holy

For the past three weekends, we have been traveling.
In each city, we have attended  church services.
In Mississippi, we attended a Baptist Church.
In Georgia, we attend a wedding ceremony in a  Catholic Church.
Today, I attended church services in a Presbyterian Church.

Before today's service, we hear the bells of the church. I hear what they call the  Gathering Bells.
We participate in the Call to Worship, sing a hymn, and read a prayer of confession.
The scripture for today's message was from the Old Testament, 1Kings 17: 8-24
Today's choral Amen was  Lord Make Us More Holy.
This hymn,  is a traditional African-American Spiritual.  Beautiful!

Everyone at the church gave this visitor (me) a warm welcome.
After services, the congregations meets for coffee and tea.

Later this week I will share pictures from places during my visit to Rochester, NY.
The stain glass windows are from the Presbyterian Church
