On Sunday, we traveled to Dayton to attend church services. Our day was filled with joyful celebrations, preaching, baptisms, communion, and a baby dedication. Including travel time, we were in the car for almost five hours. Yes, it was a full day.
As part of the baby dedication, the minister shared scriptures and offered a responsive reading. This ceremony reminded me of the dedication for our children. The service was also a beautiful reminder of the responsibilities to be members of the Body of Christ. I love that John and Sharon are committed to raising their daughter in a Christian home.
