Last Thursday, April 9, 2015, I attended the premiere of Dreamers and Doers: VOICES of Kentucky

Women. This documentary was produced by Michael Breeding Media.  Eleanor Jordon, Executive Director of Kentucky Commission on Women was instrumental in the production of this film.

Kentucky Theatre of Lexington hosted the event.  I think this was a perfect venue for its debut. Sitting in the audience, I love the dark red velvet drapes that grace the movie screen. It reminds me of the glamour of by gone by era. 

This film focused on providing insight into the roles women have played in the growth and development of the Commonwealth.  The film is inspiring.   Younger audiences may be motivated to make a difference in their community.
