Last week, I smiled when I read this portion of a blog from FR. Bel R SAN LUIS, SVD. " A Catholic priest and a Protestant minister were fishing on the side of the road. They thoughtfully made a sign saying , "The End is Near! Turn around now, before it is too late." and showed it to each passing car.

One motorist who didn't appreciate the sign and shouted at them, "Leave us alone, you religious nuts!"

All of a suddenly they heard a big splash, looked at each other, and the priest said to the pastor, "Maybe we should have just said, "Bridge Under Repair instead?
While it does not seem related to advent... he weaves the rest of the blog in a reflective part of advent.
