Our local YMCA is in the midst of a major pool renovation.
For weeks, a huge plastic tarp was in place to capture the dust that was
generated by the drilling. Music from our class was often interrupted by the
shrill sound of the drills.
Now, the tarp is down. Repairs continue on the tiles. In September, the overhaul will be finished.
Repairs and restorations are not easy.
In the midst of the challenges, I need to focus on the
benefits after the inconvenience.
Restoration can apply to our lives as well. I may endure pain when I
struggle to overcome life-controlling habits.
