Time for Carter Family Reunion

Source: Free Clip Art available on wed
Tomorrow will be our sixty-second family reunion. After months, of planning, conference calls, text messages, Facebook pictures, PayPal instruction, registrations, invoices, emails, phone calls, t-shirt orders, the event will finally happen.

As we have been elbow deep in the planning, I trust we will not overlook the most important part of the reunion. It will not be the T-shirt design or the menu. It will be the family members  we see.

Monday Musings

I started thinking about Monday morning Sunday afternoon. I created a list of things I needed to accomplish. As a result of prayer and planning, today was productive.

It is a wonderful feeling of accomplishment to bounce back after a week of struggling with the flu.
Hubby is back to work. I have been able to resume a more normal daily routine.

small beginnings...

The launch of the “Sewing Circle” is official.  This morning a small group of refugees participated in its initial meeting.  It is wonderful to see this group begin to take shape.

As we continue to move forward, we will  listen to the group. Planning is not effective unless everyone gives voice to their ideas.  Members completed a short survey to contribute to the planning.

We anticipate some ups and downs as we move forward.

“Do not despise these small beginning, for the Lord rejoices to see the work begin…”
