'the perfect friendship"

 "In 'Ethics,' Aristotle discusses three types of friendship: utility, pleasure, and the "perfect friendship." Friendships of utility are based on convenience while friendships of pleasure arise from shared interests. In Aristotle's words, the perfect friendship is "made up of [those] who are good and alike in virtue; for each alike wishes well to each other."
