This evening, I attended a milestone celebration. A special
friend is marking his ten-year survival of pancreatic cancer.
I met “B” two years
ago in an exercise class at the Y. At our
first meeting, his exuberance was contagious. He is generous in sharing his exercise and health tips. He does not waste one bit of his
suffering.
At the restaurant, I joined
his wife, children, friends, coworkers, neighbors, kayak and hiking
friends to enjoy food, music, and stories. If you are planning a milestone celebration, pull out all of the
stops. Share the joy!
