Earl (The Duke) knows his name.  When you call his name he responds. I call his name, then,  he poke his little head up... However, if Earl wants to run... his desire to run outrides his desire to obey.


As individuals, we may respond to God's call ... to salvation, service, and sacrifice.

    ~  Jesus is speaking, "No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him, and I will raise him us at the last day."  John 6:44

  ~  " For it is by grace  you have been saved, through faith - and this not from yourselves; it is a gift of God, not by works so that no one can boast.  For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to good works. which God prepared in advance for us to do  Ephesians 2: 8 - 10 ( NIV)
