Once upon a time...

"Once upon a time... when we were colored" Clifton Taulbert wrote this book based on his life growing up in Mississippi. His book was later adapted into a movie. 

Tonight's tour of the First African Baptist Church in Lexington, reminded me of those times. When we were colored... This was a special event for the  Blue Grass Trust for Historic Preservation.
