Take a walk in the park

When weather and time permit, I enjoy a walk in the park. Today's weather was a near-perfect day. Walking on the path, I notice a fat, furry, caterpillar, leaves beginning to change colors,  and walkers as we pass each other on the trail.

I have a question for you ...

"When was the last time you spent a quiet moment, just doing nothing - just sitting and looking at the sea, or watching the wind blowing the tree limbs, or waves rippling on a pond, a flicking  candle or children playing in the park."

Ralph Marston

I trust that you will find time to take a walk in the park.

Monday Musings ... destiny

" We are built to count. As water is made to run downhill. We are placed in a specific context to count in ways that one else does. That is our destiny,"

Dallas Willard,  The Divine Conspiracy

October

 Humble dazzle

Of autumn:

These leaves

On the ground -

Each one a page

In the Book,

A poem that says

I lived.

        I was

A small part

Of the whole

Story - this

Is my song,

This is my glory.
