For the past week, one word continues to be in my thoughts. The one word is: perseverance.
Merriam-Webster defines persistence ... continued effort to do or achieve something despite difficulties, failure or opposition: the action or condition or instance of persevering.
One of my scriptures that provides inspiration for me it this one found in the New Testament book of Hebrews 12: 1
Here are the words from this verse:
"Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles us. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us. "
