Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.

On January 15, 2020 members of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc. worldwide paused to celebrate 112 years of service.  

Since its founding at Howard University in 1908, Alpha Kappa Alpha women serve their communities  in the  United States and several other countries. According to recent data, more than 300,000 women in 1,024 chapters are serving and making a difference their communities. 

"To cultivate and encourage high scholastic and ethical standards, to promote unity and friendship among college women, to study and help alleviate problems concerning girls and women in order to improve their social stature, to maintain a progressive interest in college life, and to be of "Service to All Mankind."
