Tea, homemade apple
cake, fruit, cheese, and conversation are the simple ingredients for an
afternoon tea. It is suppose to be simple. Yet I found myself stressing out
over the table setting. YIKES. L
Do I feel the need to
impress? I guess so. After overthinking the whole thing, I strip the
table. Candles, seasonal decorations,
and the place settings will have to do for today. I ask myself,
“What is the most important thing?”I know it is about our
friendship. Thanks to Gloria and Jill for sharing their afternoon with me.
