No amount of
reading, talking, attending prayer conferences, is a sufficient substitute for
praying. So… I was excited to hear that friends had organized a summer prayer time.
For the past few summers
we have met for a weekly Bible study. The summer is a perfect time for us as we take a break from our year-long Bible Study Fellowship time. This year, my friends Maureen and Charlotte organized a prayer time. Maureen has
graciously offered her home where we will meet to worship and pray. I'm eager to see how our prayers lives will grow individually and collectively.
“If you want that splendid power in prayer,
you must remain in loving, living, lasting, conscious, practical, abiding union
with the Lord Jesus Christ.”
C.H. Spurgeon
