Friendship Friday

Did you know that friendships are important to your emotional health as well as your physical health?  Yes, there is real science behind friendship. According to neuroscientists and anthropologists, friends are important to our very survival.

In February of 2020, Lydia Denworth  published a book titled, FRIENDSHIP: The Evolution, Biology, and the Extraordinary  Power of Life's Fundamental Bond. A few excerpts of her book were highlighted  in a newspaper article printed in February of 2020.

I appreciate that she addresses some basic issues, "Like what makes a good friendship? " "Why do we become friends with one person and not another?" I really like this question, " How long does it take make a friend?

Quick friendship facts.. friendships improve your body's cardiovascular functioning,  impacts  how your immune system works, and how you sleep.  You might me saying really? How can that be true? Is there  real science behind those facts? Well you must read the book and find out for yourself.

I hope you make time to make friendships a priority in your life. It is literally good for you.
