Pet of the week, Tuck

Tuck is more than a pet. He is a service animal. Tuck is in training to be a service animal. “Service animals perform some of the functions and tasks that the individual with a disability cannot perform for him or herself."*

Each of the pets must be able to perform basic commands such as sit, stay, here, down, and display good behavior in public. In addition, they must be able to do tasks such as, retrieving, leading, pulling, providing balance, and other tasks.
Tuck is following the command to sit.

I met Tuck and his trainer at a local Half Price Book store.

Tuck has a treat. Good job!
