Today in class, we were weaving.. conversations, homework assignments, assessments, and a birthday celebration. During the party, Nellie introduced vocabulary... cupcake, icing, spread, sprinkles,matches, light, candles, fire... Even after the celebration, Nellie did not miss a beat by encouraging students to resume work on class content. It was a full day in class.
