Friendship Friday

"Over the course of an average lifetime you meet a lot of people. Some stick with you through thick and thin, some weave their way through your life and disappear forever. But every once in awhile someone comes along and earns a permanent spot in your life." Unknown

Social Media such as Facebook has offered a way for friends to reconnect. I am fortunate to rekindle school friendships.

Here are a few of my high school friends at our 35th High School Reunion in 2007.

I miss high school

I miss high school... fire drills...announcements...pep rallies...conversations in the hallway...block schedules... progress reports...finals...candy sales...laughter ... acceptance letters from colleges...prom...homecoming...rushing to class...tears...text messages.... you wore that to school!...sagging...bragging...texting... prayering... cafeteria food...Deep Springs..Bible Study for students...conversations in the copier room...funny faculty members... the excitement...
For the past four years, I worked at a high school. Now, I really do miss high school.
