Stamp Out Hunger

This year’s Stamp Out Hunger Drive will be held on Saturday, May 7, 2015.  This Food Drive is the nation’s largest all-volunteer one day food collection effort. It is held annually on the second Saturday in May.   It is held in 10,000 cities and in all 50 states. *( source nalc.)

This nationwide drive offers individuals an opportunity to help others in need. According to their website,  you may place non perishable items in your mailbox. 

Food Banks, shelters, pantries and Feeding America will benefit with this annual food drive.

The Mail Carriers (NALC) Food Drive will be this Saturday, May 11, 2013. If you are interested in helping stock the shelves at your local food bank this week is your opportunity.
