During our travels last week, we agree that traveling to Maine in the summer is indeed a joy. At this time of the year, we discovered that the temperatures are milder, the water seemed bluer, and we missed the peak travel season.
We took a tour in Portland, enjoyed taking pictures of lighthouses, drove along the coast in Kennebunkport, parked by the Howling Cave, shopped in Freeport, Maine and enjoyed seafood.
I think it would be nice to visit again ...
but not in the winter.
