Away from our daily responsibilities, we
linger over our conversations. We
listen with intentionally. We embrace our
time together.
For
fifty-eight years, the Carter family has continued a tradition of meeting
during Labor Day weekend. This weekend we gathered in Charlotte, North
Carolina. As the descendants of Samuel
and Matilda Carter, we take time to remember.
