When we have guests I always pose this question, "Are you scared of dogs? " I know that a fear of dogs can be terrifying. We always want to make our guests feel comfortable. If our dog makes them feel uneasy, we escort Jackson outside or to another part of the house.

If our guests feel comfortable.... this is what you might see in our home.

In April, were hosts to college advisors from Germany and Norway. We enjoyed a lively conversation and a delicious meal. During dinner, Jackson was quiet under the table. Yes, under the dining room table. After dinner,  we take a few pictures.

Last week, he was diagnosis with bone cancer.
After discussion of several options... we have made a difficult decision.
