Joy

I am singing about joy, but tears are streaming down my face.   I don't understand the tears. I cannot accurately describe how I can experience both joy and  sadness at the same time. Tears have a way of expressing my emotions that I cannot adequately articulate. 

Singing in church this morning, I was crying. Gratitude, joy, love...
 I  am grateful to God who understands the sum of my emotions and comforts and encourages me to continue grow in faith and obedience to Him.
