"That is why I don't know like crowds now."
For the past twenty years, a friend does not miss shopping the day after Thanksgiving. It has become a family ritual. Each year, Mary, her three daughters and now her granddaughter go shopping on "Black Friday". This year, they began their ritual at 3:00 a.m.. She was able to purchase of a 32" flat screen color TV for $246. (Target) Pretty good. After shopping...breakfast at a local restaurant. ...returning home for sleep.... then later in the day, her hair appointment.
Her grandson was the one who said,"That is why I don't like crowds now".
He understands his fear of crowds. It is not a mystery.
During this season of the year, the sacred and the secular events can get twisted and tangled. My focus, to keep my eye on the eternal.
