Ozzy

  The pet of the week is Ozzy  an English Bulldog  If you like a cuddly and  high maintenance pet, the English Bulldog may be perfect for you.  Each time I see an English Bulldog, I want to squeeze them. To me, they look adorable. Do you agree with me? 

Ozzy's owners say he is five years old and weighs sixty-eight pounds. He is a just a tad overweight.  Look at his profile. 😀💖

Frugal Friendships

Earlier this week, I enjoyed  lunch with friends.  Our conversation weaved between recipes, using leftovers, and discovering  creative ways to use yarn from unexpected sources. When I am humble and listen more, I learn more. What about you? 

Monday Musings... Vacation Bible School

My memories of Vacation Bible School are sweet.  I  remember songs, making crafts, tine with friends, and of course the love of Jesus was introduced.

Last week, it was a joy to attend VBS (Vacation Bible School) with my granddaughter and her family. Names, faces and places may have changed.  The timeless truth of Jesus's love, songs, crafts and friends remain the same.  What has changed... the creativity of the curriculum.  The children were given a passport when they registered for VBS. Their first stop. Egypt. Their second stop, Jerusalem.

Family Friday

Family Time... Our goal was to make every day count. This week, we filled each day with thoughful activities planned before our arrival. It was a bit of the ordinary things made special by doing them together. Like what? For example,  enjoying meals together,  building Legos , reading books,  building robots, visiting the library, going to  Vacation Bible School, and crafting,  

We had a super time visiting with our daughter, son-in-law, and granddaughter.
